These cookies are delicious! I’m not going to lie but I impressed myself with these.
2 4.4oz Hershey’s chocolate bars
3 tablespoons of butter
2/3 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
Place 1 and 1/2 chocolate bars and butter in a saucepan over medium low heat until melted and smooth. This may take up to 15 minutes. The butter will start to separate and it will become smooth. Set aside. Beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla for 15 minutes. Add in the flour, baking powder, the melted chocolate and the rest of the chocolate and mix for an additional 10 minutes. Spoon a small amount of dough onto a lightly greased pan. Bake on 350 for approx. 8-10 minutes.
Sea Salt Caramel Frosting Ingredients
1 cup butter (use sticks)
2 cup powder sugar
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/2 cup caramel
Put the butter in a bowl and beat until creamy. Add in the sugar and salt and beat until well combined. Finally, add in the caramel and mix.
Let the cookies cool completely before icing.
Spread icing on the cookies. For a nice touch, add chocolate shavings on top. I used extra chocolate and shaved it with a cheese grader.
